Indonesia is one of the manufacturers and exporters of coffee, which is important
with a total market share of approximately 30 % of the world market share . In
general there are two types of coffee that is owned and exported, Indonesian
Robusta and Arabica Coffee.
Simalungun is one district in North Sumatera province and is famous for its Arabica coffee (Coffee Ateng Sigararutang). The local coffee powder itself is usually more expensive than the common coffee but it is highly guaranteed coffee.
